An occult researcher continues her dead mentor's work: studying the decline of the rural population in Ontario. On the belief that witchcraft is a factor in the decline, she experiments with an arcane ritual in an attempt to understand the phenomenon.

Following the indie band BEAMS as they struggle to continue operating through thew COVID pandemic, while questioning their city’s commitment to the maintaining a thriving arts’ scene. The band plays single songs in shuttered locations throughout the city over the course of 2020-2021. In between, we see the pitfalls and payoffs of trying to make music in a place that is actively trying to shut out the arts.
